Lulu has moved from fashion and friends in glam Mumbai to global London. The blog takes on everyday living, museums, cafe's, cosmopolitan friends, currently infrequent weekend pub visits, shopping and calorie counts. If I understand British Humour which is slowly making its way into my brain cells through my cold ears, I promise to share.

some more updates

I am in Wales, using a Finnish laptop ;) ..when i should be working on a report comparing Kate Moss and Twiggy...please use google for explainations...you should know these people..

Also went for a long long walk with Ville to a little town called Mumbles, didnt meet fairy folk but ate a fairly decent English correction Welsh pub meal of jacket potatoes and beans. (how different the cuisines are! they even have Welsh skimmed milk here, in London i get British skimmed milk) Infact calling the Welsh English is like calling the Finnish Flemish. Also devoured a wonderful chocolate reindeer, fulfilling my Indian post meal sweet tooth craving.

hehe i feel like a sadist.....moondust got busted :P i was feeling miserable i missed it....but yaaay...all my friends went to die and dance to psyc ...while i was listening to bob dylan in my room.... and now who's had the last laugh eh..!

Bought the 90th birthday issue of British Vogue, It is fantastic. Something for keeps...

I'm a little vague on Kate Moss. But, you're right, I should know these people.

Twiggy was more working class, and graduated on to middle age very early, which is common for working class woman. Not business. Her fame was not a think she controlled.

Kate Moss is upper-middle class and so is destined to attempt to stretch her youth on indefinitely. Her beauty is a business. Woman are now more able than 30 years ago, to be in charge of the exploitation of their own beauty.

So, Pearl says I am wrong and both Twig and kate are of working class background.

Imagine that - I was wrong. But it is such a good theory, the facts ought to be rearranged to fit the theory.

So, Pearl-the-girl,

What is your favourite Bob Dylan song? The one you would most likely be listening to when your friends went off and you stayed home. Listening.
For the future.

I would not start a debate about the Welsh - English or the Finn - Flemish thing. If people kill each other over a silly game of football, these jokers who take their 'englishness' or 'welshness' to heart do not seem to have a sense of humour, so please do not test it, especially at a local Welsh pub. So the next time you are in Swansea, do not try it out, because they will not punch you, but the innocent looking Finn by your side!!! :)
Have a nice day!
